Tottenham Hotspur have announced the signing of St Patrick’s young striker Mason Melia for a fee in the region of €4m in add-ons, breaking the Irish League record, with the player set to join the club early next year.

Spurs paid a reported €1.9m fee and gave St Patrick’s a 20% sell-on fee to sign Melia until 2031, with the 17-year-old set to join in January 2026.

Melia made his senior debut for St Patrick’s, the club that brought him in two years ago, and has since made 54 appearances in both the Irish Premier League and the Europa Conference League, scoring 10 goals and providing three assists.

At international level, Melia has represented Ireland U-19s three times and was called up to the U-21s for the first time in October last year.

In 2023, he became the youngest player to play in an FAI Cup final when he helped his side defeat Bohemians to lift the trophy.

St Pat’s manager Stephen Kenny praised Melia’s ability as a goalscorer, with the former Republic of Ireland manager adding that he believed the striker will enjoy a fruitful international career.

“Mason is a terrific talent with an exceptional attitude and a real appetite for hard work,” Kenny told the โปรโมชั่นพิเศษจาก UFABET สมัครตอนนี้ รับโบนัสทันที club’s website.
